Where is The Multifunction Room located?

The Multifunction Room is located on Level 4 of the Shepparton Art Museum, offering a quiet and professional setting perfect for corporate functions, workshops, conferences, and immersive team-building experiences.

While Level 4 floor remains open to the public from 10:30 AM–3:30 PM, your event will enjoy a dedicated function space for your exclusive use. Clear signage and bollards establish a dedicated event zone, and an optional retractable wall can be added for additional seclusion, depending on your room layout and guest numbers.

Lead Times

Depending on the nature of your event, we require a minimum of four weeks’ notice for bookings to ensure we can provide the best possible experience for your event. If you’re looking to organise something at short notice, please still get in touch - we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Availability

Our function calendar is fully booked until late April/early May 2026. But we’d love to start planning your event for when spots open - let’s chat and lock in your date!

Standard venue hire aligns with museum operating hours: 10:00AM - 4:00PM.

Facilitator/organiser access may begin from 9:30AM to allow setup, with guest arrival from 10:00AM.

Events to conclude and attendees departed by 4:00PM.

If you require earlier starts, later finishes, or other special arrangements, we’re happy to provide a tailored quote.

The room is flexible and can accommodate a variety of setups:

• Theatre: Up to 80 people

• Banquet: Up to 64 people

• Cabaret: Up to 56 people

Our in-house catering team offers fresh, seasonal options tailored to corporate events - from DIY poke bowl stations to gourmet morning/afternoon tea selections.

All catering packages include a tea & coffee station, and additional beverage options are available on request.

Please note that catering must be booked in conjunction with venue hire, as we do not offer dry-hire of The Multifunction Room. This ensures a seamless and fully supported experience for your event.

We require a minimum of 35 guests for all bookings. If your event falls below this number, a minimum spend requirement will apply.

This ensures your event still feels curated, professional, and seamless.
